Frequently asked questions

Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Because we love social networking and think social web indexing is the future. Bots can never recomend links as good as people.

Q: How does it work?
A: Well, in short, we catch all public social media updates, such as tweets from Twitter and save them for processing. Then we resolve eventual TinyUrls*, find out what title the page have and save up a bunch of keywords.
* or other short url services.

Q: But your search results are not nearly as good as Googles, why should I bother?
A: Well, this is the future, we have not existed nearly as long as Google and our index is constantly growing and we are constantly developing. Not happy with the results yet, you are more than welcome back in a while.

Q: I found a bug?
A: How nice for you, We guess you are a bug collector then :) Offcourse we are jokeing, please send any bug reports to bugs@twieek.com.

Q: How many pages have you indexed so far?
A: Just about 327561 pages are indexed.

Q: It says I am a contributer, but I have never asked to be this!
A: Well, we use public feeds from social media such as Twitter, perhaps your feed is public just like the other 238905 peoples feeds we collected are?

Q: How can I help?
A: Send a email to info@twieek.com and tell us how you think you could help.
